We are excited to announce that to mark Earth Day, we have released a limited pink collection in collaboration with our Fierce Female and world-renowned ocean activist, Alison Teal. In partnership with our charity partner City to Sea (a UK based charity with a focus on stopping plastic pollution at the source), for every piece bought, we will donate to the ocean through our Earth to Ocean giving model.
We launched our all-black Clean Lines collection last year with the idea of creating a simple, monochromatic collection that echoes the black we see in nature: black rocks, black sand, shadows in the trees…
So when Fierce Female and world-renowned ocean activist, Alison Teal, asked if we would make her some pink suits for her upcoming London visit, our first response was, “can we do them in black?”. Alison is known for her efforts to remove plastics from the world’s oceans and her work on Trash Island in the Maldives, which resulted in inspiring a massive global cleanup effort. Knowing about her amazing work for our world waters, travelling with her signature pink eco surfboard made from recycled coffee cups in hand, we had to say yes.
Our exact words were: “because of everything that you do in the name of helping our ocean, you can have anything you like”.
As with all of our designs, for every piece bought, we will donate to an ocean charity partner as part of our Earth to Ocean giving model.
We chose City to Sea as a perfect partner for this collaboration as they focus on stopping plastic pollution at the source and are based in the UK.
